| Summary: | ECCO III Enterprises, Inc. is currently recruiting for a highly motivated candidate interested in a fulfilling career in heavy highway construction with endless possibilities. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing and checking data received from an owner/agency (paper plans and digital data) and delivering this data to survey crews for construction layout. This includes typical highway/bridge construction features including roadway 3D surface models from horizontal alignments, vertical profiles, and roadway cross sections. Once the data is prepared and checked, the candidate will be responsible for transferring this information to Trimble survey Equipment which requires a hands on approach and occasional site visits. The individual will also be responsible for generating earthwork quantities from contours, roadway surfaces models, and/or field survey data for an estimating team, as well as for the project management group for ongoing projects. | Special Requirements: | The candidate should have experience in highway design and/or constructing highway 3D models. Candidate should be well versed in various drafting/design/Takeoff software such as the following: Microstation and Inroads, Autocad Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Agtek or similar programs. Further training development will be offered as needed. The candidate should have a willingness to learn how to work with Trimble survey equipment for the purposes of transferring the data to the Trimble equipment and demonstrating to the survey crew how to utilize the data.
