Scope of Work:
The building of two transfer bridges connecting railway and barge fendering system to be used for loading railcars onto float barges for transfer across the New York Harbor. ECCO III was responsible for the detailing and coordination of all mechanical lifting equipment, structural steel and railway installation. ECCO III also redesigned and installed the fendering system, timber piles, steel sheeting bulkhead, and concrete installation with in-house expertise and equipment. ECCO III utilized specialty subcontractors for the electrical and railway portion of the project. |
