Scope of Work:
The rehabilitation and upgrade of the Croton Harmon Railroad Station Yard. A portion of this rail yard was rebuilt with new and relocated tracks and associated industrial systems. A total of four (4) new fueling stations were installed in the yard along with two (2) new sanding systems. A new incoming electric service was installed to feed the yard along with the required ancillary support structures. Upgrading the yard area included the installation of four (4) new electric substations; approximately 19,000 linear feet of electrical ductbank; 6,000 linear feet of watermains and 7,000 linear feet of storm and sanitary piping. In addition, a new employee overpass was constructed from the existing station overpass and spanned over the yard tracks. |
