Scope of Work:
This $28.7 million project for the New York State Thruway Authority is for pavement resurfacing, safety improvements and flood mitigation from MP 29.4 to 39.8 and concrete pavement restoration at Interchanges 15 and 15A on the New York State Thruway (I-87).  The project also includes rehabilitation of thruway bridges over Route 17, Conrail and the Ramapo River at MP 31.78 and MP 31.79.  The work includes: full depth pavement repairs; miscellaneous shoulder repairs; miscellaneous drainage repairs; construction of a pumping station; drainage ditch; construction of a flood wall; and median pipe installation. Also included is: the replacement of PCC (Portland Cement Concrete precast) slabs with cast-in-place concrete; repair of girder bearings and anchor bolts; structural lifting operations; removal/replacement of scuppers; and the replacement of sign panels, traffic signal loops, pavement striping and other safety improvements.
