Title: Superintendent

Summary:

ECCO III Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent with experience managing multiple field operations simultaneously with a strong understanding of utility, civil, structural and/or mechanical work.

The individual shall be responsible for supervising all field operations and labor forces for an assigned project(s). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing jobsite safety and quality; contributing to the project schedule; contributing to project finance administration; developing/implementing safe work plans; coordinating material procurement; managing/training assistant superintendents; developing and implementing major work operations such as demolition and erection; among other responsibilities.

Prior to construction, the individual will be expected to understand drawings and specifications; understand applicable union contracts; develop a 4-week look-ahead schedule including all aspects of operations; create a work plan for major operations (i.e., demolition, erection); execute ECCO III's pre-excavation policy; confirm and review shop drawings; confirm permits; confirm material delivery schedules; coordinate equipment/tool delivery schedules; coordinate labor needs; confirm baseline survey and survey layouts; review the project budget; and develop value-engineering ideas, among other activities.

During construction, the individual will be expected to maintain field operations, ensuring all activities progress efficiently throughout each shift; confirm safe work plans are being implemented; confirm safety and security protocols are being adhered to; determine emergency protocols; maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally sound work site; and adjust schedule and planned activities as any issues or delays arise (i.e., inclement weather). Additional responsibilities include entering information into Datamaxx; confirming equipment is maintained/repaired; performing red-mark in bid book; developing final cost projections for operations; and identifying extras and reporting to project management.

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 in addition to bonus potential, a 401(k) match, health benefits, paid time off, and more. The final salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the individual's experience and qualifications.

Special Requirements:

Successful candidates will meet most, if not all, of the below criteria:

-Experience managing at least 3 significant field operations simultaneously

-Strong understanding of construction safety principals and best practices

-Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, lead, and influence Assistant Superintendents, Office Engineers, subcontractors, and craft laborers

-Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex engineering challenges/solutions to a wide variety of stakeholders

-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle Primavera Scheduling Software
