Title: Construction Safety Coordinator

Summary:

ECCO III Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to coordinate safety activities for large-scale infrastructure projects.

The individual shall be responsible for overseeing the safety of employees, subcontractors, and the general public; enforcing corporate and project-specific safety and health programs as well as federal, state, and local safety standards; identifying known/potential exposures and recommending corrective actions; reporting project-specific safety performance and future plans; working closely with field supervision to plan complex safety aspects of the project construction; develop project-specific safe work plans; and coordinate third party safety reviews, including OSHA, among other activities.

The annual salary range for this role is $85,000 to $120,000 in addition to bonus potential, a 401(k) match, health benefits, paid time off, and more. The final salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the individual's experience and qualifications.

Special Requirements:

Successful candidates will meet most, if not all, of the below criteria:

-Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing construction safety

-OSHA Outreach Trainer for Construction

-OSHA 30-hr Training for Construction

-Right of Way experience for New York rail agencies including New York City Transit, Metro-North Railroad, and Long Island Railroad

-SSPC C-3 Lead Training and the appropriate C-5

-NYSDOL Asbestos License Class D

-First Aid/CPR/AED certifications

-40-hr Hazardous Waste Worker Training and up-to-date refreshers and supervisory training

-Member of the ASSP

-Undergraduate degree in Safety and Health or related discipline a plus

-Active ASP/and or CST designation a plus
