Title: Mechanical Estimator/Project Manager
Division: Operations/Estimating - Mechanical
Position Location: Yonkers, NY
Summary:

ECCO III Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Estimator/Project Manager with the ability to estimate work within a project bid/estimate to produce cost and upon contract award, lead the delivery of a project including the management of safety, Superintendents, Project/Office Engineers, the Owner, and the public.

The individual shall be responsible for contributing to the estimate of a mechanical (i.e., water treatment plants, pump stations) and/or civil project bids and working in conjunction with other Estimators to finalize an estimate. Individuals will be expected to interpret bid documents, drawings, and specifications; have knowledge of production and resources needed for mechanical, civil, utility and/or structural work; prepare cost estimates (i.e., creating bid items/activities and populating crews, equipment and materials); evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals; and communicate with upper management regarding bid development during review, among other tasks.

Upon award of a contract, the individual shall be responsible for leading all aspects of project planning including, but not limited to, project scheduling, resource allocation, project finance administration, safety and quality management, and the development of value-engineering solutions. The individual will be accountable for project profitability and shall effectively manage client service, relationships, and expectations to ensure successful project delivery.

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 in addition to bonus potential, a 401(k) match, health benefits, paid time off, and more. The final salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the individual's experience and qualifications.

Special Requirements:

Successful candidates will meet most, if not all, of the below criteria:

-8+ years of proven, combined experience in both estimating and management of mechanical projects (experience on NYCDEP projects and civil knowledge a plus)

-Experience in water, wastewater, and pump stations projects involving the installation of new or replacement of process piping systems and equipment

-Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate bid developments with upper management

-Working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite and HCSS Heavy Bid Estimating Software
