Scope of Work:
This project required the widening of the viaduct between Third Avenue and Webster Avenue. The work consisted of adding new fascia steel girders, new concrete deck over new steel, concrete safety barrier, replaced deteriorated concrete deck, replacement of steel members, replacement of steel rocker bearings using Hydraulic Jacking and concrete overlay viaduct upon completion of all deck repairs.Additionally, this project required the rehabilitation of steel members and asphalt pavement. This work was completed under phased construction which required two open lanes of two way traffic at all times. |
