Scope of Work:
This $53 Million Dollar Project for the New York State Department of Transportation includes the reconstruction of two existing bridges over I-287, the construction of a new bridge over an existing exit ramp, and the realignment of Westchester Avenue in the City of White Plains, New York. This project will take place over several stages while maintaining traffic along the busy corridor of I-287 and Exit 8. The two existing bridges will be completely demolished and replaced with three span steel structures. The new bridge will be a single span structure. In addition, Westchester Avenue in both Eastbound and Westbound directions will be entirely realigned alleviating the existing traffic situation. Extensive drainage work, utility work and precast retaining walls and box culverts are also included in the project scope. |
