Scope of Work:
This $15 Million project for the New York State Department of Transportation involved the reconstruction of the Palisades Interstate Parkway Bridge over Route 202 in the Town of Haverstraw, New York. The project wasdesigned in two stages to allow the Palisades Interstate Parkway to remain open to traffic throughout the project. The existing three span bridge was demolished and replaced with a single span bridge. In addition, Route 202 and Route 45 were upgraded where they intersect with the Palisades Interstate Parkway Entrance/Exit Ramps. New drainage systems, widening the existing roadway, installation of sidewalks, and the upgrading of traffic signal equipment at three intersections while maintaining traffic on Route 202 and Route 45 was also included in the project. |
